How to Get Rare Chickens

Rare fighters sit at the top of the tier list and come from three sources: smart egg picks, code eggs and fusion.

1. Buy the egg with the pool you want

Every egg previews its fighter pool. A cheap egg can still contain a targeted common; an expensive egg mostly guarantees a higher rarity band. Read the pool, feel the price, decide. Always balance this against the resource budget.

2. Stack code eggs

Active codes hand out eggs from rarer pools (like Thunder and Scratch) for free. Check the codes page before every session and redeem before hatching runs.

3. Fuse duplicates upward

Common duplicates are fusion fuel. Pair a duplicate with a rare donor to push the result up the rarity ladder. See the fusion guide for the base+donor and locked-trait rules.

4. Use rare donors as bait

Some players keep a single rare fighter explicitly as a fusion donor — locking its rarity influences the output. It's a real strategy for the mid-game roster push, but budget it carefully.

5. Confirm the tier before celebrating

A "rare" label doesn't automatically beat a solid common with a great trait. Verify every pull against the tier list before you rearrange your lineup.

Rarity ≠ role.

A rare egg drops rarer fighters, but your ladder needs roles (tank, DPS, laying). Build by role first, rarity second.
