1. Find a donor with the ability
Some fighters naturally carry a special ability in their trait pool — often from rarer egg types like Thunder or Void. Scan your roster and the chicken list for a donor that has one. The ability has to exist on some fighter first.
2. Fuse it onto your base
Start a fusion with your best base fighter and the ability-bearing donor. The base keeps its role and gains the donor's locked trait.
3. Lock the trait, not the flash
On the fuse screen, lock the special ability trait. A special ability that doesn't fit your strategy (like a long cooldown on a quick-farm build) is worse than a clean stat trait. Choose it deliberately.
4. Verify the result
Before fusing, double-check the cost with the resource calculator and read the preview. After fusing, compare the output to the tier list — abilities that move a fighter up a tier are the unlock worth keeping.
One ability per build.
